WHY TYKE ?
TYKE assesses students' physical abilities using MOBAK-FMS, a proven method that identifies strengths and areas for improvement. We evaluate children aged 3 to 12 with MOBAK-FMS and young adults aged 12 to 18 with Jr&Sr Physical assessments, providing valuable benchmarks for physical development.

WHAT DO WE DO ?
TYKE uses MOBAK-FMS to assess students from age 3 to 12 and 12 to 18 their physical abilities, identifying strengths, weaknesses, and development benchmarks.
Object Movement Skills assess a student's ability to control objects through motor tasks, including:
Throwing: Propelling an object with controlled force.
Catching: Coordinating to secure a moving object.
Bouncing: Controlling an object’s rebound.
Dribbling: Continuous control using hands or feet.
Self-movement skills focus on a student's ability to control their own body in motion and stability-related tasks. The key skills assessed include:
Balancing: The ability to maintain stability in stationary and dynamic conditions.
Rolling: The controlled execution of rotational body movements.
Jumping: The ability to generate and control upward or forward motion.
Running: The skill of moving efficiently at an increased pace.
Each student's performance in these skill areas is classified into one of the three developmental categories—Delayed, Developing, or Developed—allowing educators to tailor interventions based on individual needs.
ASSESSMENT & PURPOSE
Purpose and Significance of the Assessment :
TYKE' assessment serves as a diagnostic tool for evaluating the current status of each student's physical ability and areas of potential improvement. By establishing a benchmark for physical markers, the assessment provides a foundation for designing targeted interventions and structured physical activities that enhance students' motor skill development.
Assessment Process :
TYKE visits schools to conduct assessments for every student within the designated age range. The assessment process is designed to be engaging, efficient, and informative, ensuring accurate measurement of each student’s fundamental movement skills.
